He is survived by: his wife Pam Hamlett; his children, Tonya Hamlett of Danville, VA, Veronica Blunt of Alexandria, VA, Delane Townes of Danville, VA, Quanta Henry of Raleigh, NC, Shepelle Hamlett of Collinsville, VA, Neka Swann of Reidsville, NC and Cedric Coels of Martinsville, VA; his close friend Abbie Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Jean Jackson of Danville, VA, Jewell Gwynn of Yanceyville, NC, Sandra Haith of Mebane, NC, Richard Staples of Danville, VA and Timothy Jackson of Mebane, NC. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home (707 Wilson St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home (707 Wilson St, Danville, VA 24541).
