He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Augusta Eanes Bray and Hereford Franklin Bray; and his sister Patricia Davis. He is survived by: his wife Eliane Bray; his daughter Christine Bray (Lloyd Nester); his granddaughter Ashley Hobza (Todd Hobza II); and his siblings, Hereford "Frankie" Bray II, Betty Gibson, Samuel Bray (Brigitte) and Ronald Bray (Sharon).
