He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Otis Taylor and Virginia Apple Taylor; and his siblings, Nellie Nuckols, Hazel Lazouras, Betty Bohannon and Bill Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie Taylor; his daughters, Kimberly Farson (Michael Farson) of Vernon Hill, VA and Robyn Taylor (John Meadows) of South Boston, VA; his stepdaughter Wanda (Jay Chattin); his grandchildren, Michael Farson, Tyler Farson, Michaela Farson, Aaron Patterson, Taylor Patterson, Cooper Taylor, Charlie Taylor and Mason Taylor; and his siblings, Nancy Matherly of Danville, Linda Bray of Eden, NC, John Taylor of Danville and David Taylor of Greensboro, NC..
