We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2022, at the age of 90, Robert Thomas Motley Jr. (Danville, Virginia), born in Portsmouth, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Moore Motley and Robert Thomas Motley Sr.; and his wife Dorothy Jean Abbott Motley. He is survived by: his children, Mike Motley (Cynthia), Randy Motley (Kathy), Doug Motley (Linda) and Debbie Mobley (James). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild and three sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Mt. Cross Volunteer Fire & Rescue or Danville Life Saving Crew.
