He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thomas Hackworth and Hazel Mills Hackworth. He is survived by: his sons, Travis Hackworth (Leslie), Matthew Hackworth (Allison) and Joshua Hackworth (Kayla); his sister Kathey Page; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Jr., Caroline, Hanna and Levi.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Riveroak Church of God (120 River Oak Blvd, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the Danville Memorial Gardens (510 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541).
