He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leigh and Nora Dowdy Leigh; and his sister Vickie Kennon. He is survived by: his wife Tina Lee Reed Leigh; his children, Katie Updike (Norman) of Gretna, VA, Brandon Davis (Charlotte) of Kansas City, Leann Davis of Chattanooga Tenn and Jenna Pryor (Cody) of Danville; his grandchildren, Austin Updike, Rhianna Updike, Salem Leigh, Brayden Chapell, Harper Pryor and Oberon Leigh; his goddaughter Nia Peatross; his nieces and nephews, Andrea, Kyle, Miranda, Abigail and Adam; his great-nieces, Olivia and Evelyn; his siblings, Michelle Brandon (Scott) of Danville and James Meeks of Bristol, VA; and his close friend Jud Buchanan.
