With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nell Hamlin Jefferson of Danville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Turner Hamlin, Jr. and Nell Davis Hamlin; her brother Dr. James Turner Hamlin; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Evelyn Jefferson and Elizabeth "Betty" Jefferson.
She is survived by: her children, William H. Jefferson, III and Nell Jefferson Fredericksen (Todd); her grandchildren, Neil and Argo; her son Richard G. Jefferson (Terri); her grandchildren, Griffin and Bailey; her son James H. Jefferson; and her brother Jefferson Davis Hamlin (Winnie).
