She was predeceased by: her parents, Thatcher Orvel Pierce and Mildred Lucille McGuirk Pierce; her daughter Tami Lynn Ewing Eckstein; and her siblings, Orvel "Gene" Pierce and Lucille Sherbert.
She is survived by: her close friend Bonnie Gosney; and her daughters, Tracy, Annette and Dena Ewing. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541).
