She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover and Willie; her former husband Carl Rhodes Jr.; her husband Joe Kahle; and her sister Cleo Chaney.
She is survived by: her sons, Donny Rhodes (Rene), Ronny Rhodes (Barbara) of Danville and Christopher Rhodes of Puerto Vallarto, Mexico; her niece Cheryl Collins; and her nephew Lance Chaney. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggest that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either the Danville Life Saving Crew, at 202 Christopher Lane, Danville, VA 24541 or to the charity of your choice.
