She is survived by: her mother Nannie Moore Slade; her children, Kennedy Saunders of Danville, VA, Darrell Newby, Jr. of Danville, VA and Kennis Saunders of Danville, VA; her granddaughter Ny'robi Newby of Danville, VA; and her siblings, Laquinta Moore of Norfolk, VA, Carolyn Lipscomb (Michael), Belinda Walters (Phyllis Hartridge) and Jerome Hairston of Danville, VA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
