He is survived by: his mother Barbara Coleman Herndon; his wife Mary Jane Mabes Herndon; his sons, Adam Herndon and Eric Herndon; his brother Steven Herndon (Susan); his grandson Ezra Abraham Herndon; and his pet Gypsy.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540).
