She was predeceased by: her parents, Wister Bryant Roberts and Mary Davis Roberts; her husband Nelson Leroy Whitt; her son Terry Neal Whitt; and her brothers, Martin Roberts, Marvin Roberts and Lawrence Roberts.
She is survived by: her son Jerry Lee Whitt (Sharon) of Apollo, Pennsylvania; her sister Fay Roberts Pyrtle of Windsor, Pennsylvania; her nephew Michael Pyrtle (Angela) of Windsor, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Arran Matthew Whitt, Andrew "Andy" Michael Whitt (Erika) and Shelley Jean Whitt of Danville, Virginia; and also Laurie Levis Whitt of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
