He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrud Risse Stamer and Heinrich Stamer; and his wife Evelyn Ricketts Stamer. He is survived by: his son Karl H. Stamer II (Bea) of Clearwater, FL; his stepson Randy G. Hedrick (Tracy) of Belton, SC; his daughter Melissa Cook (Lynn) of King, NC; and his stepdaughters, Angela Oakes (Billy) of Danville, VA and Cindy Dowdy (David) of Danville, VA. He is also survived by one brother; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
