Judy Carswell Pruitt Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judy Carswell Pruitt (Danville, Virginia), born in Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Carswell and Thelma Chitwood Carswell; her husband William Joseph "Joe" Pruitt; and her brother Tommy Carswell. She is survived by: her sister Sandra C. Walker; her daughter Cindy Aherron (William, Jr.) of Providence, NC; her granddaughter Tennille McDowell (Vernon); her great grandchild Kolton McDowell; her stepgranddaughter Emilee Poteat; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Scarlet and Nora; her niece Lisa Walker; and her close friend Howard Truitt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
