She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur William Lawson and Virginia Samuels Lawson; her sons, Charles "Chuck" Davis and Timothy Davis; and her brothers, Arthur "Sonny" Lawson, Jr. and Alton Lawson.

She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Wade and Patricia Self. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
