He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Eddie Foster and Lillian Malloy Walker Foster; his wife Catherine Cline Foster; his son John Eddie Foster Sr.; and his siblings, Rufus Leon Foster, Maries Cross and Bonito Heavy.

He is survived by: his grandson John Eddie Foster, Jr. (Richelle); and his great grandchildren, Autumn Foster and Hunter Foster.
