She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Eanes Haley and William Clifton Haley; her former husband George Allen Soyars; her son Ricky Soyars; her grandson Cody Soyars; her siblings, Ronnie, Bobby, Tommy Haley and Linda Howard; and also Samuel Hodnett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Echols, Tammy Wilson and Kimberly Hudson (William); her stepchildren, Cynthia Hodnett, Steven and Sammy Hodnett; her sister Peggy Beard; her grandchildren, Lindsey Martin, Kyle Hudson, Devin Adkins, Megan Adkins, Hannah Wilson, Cove Soyars, Cara Iwan (Freddy) and Rikki Lee Hamlett (Austin); her great grandchildren, Memphis Hook and Sadie Hamlett; and her pet Sweet Pea.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - West End Chapel (511 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
