He is survived by: his wife Linda Zimmerman Reynolds; his children, Billy Thompson of Danville, VA and Penny Darroch (Andrew) of Oxford, NC; his grandchildren, Kristy Parker, Billy Thompson, Jr. (Linda Hughes), Sharon Williams (Jimmy) and Joshua Darroch; his great grandchildren, Trevor Parker, Bobby Thompson, Praley Williams and Lucas Williams; his sister-in-law Rose Reynolds; and his nieces and nephews, Patrick Reynolds, Jonathan Reynolds, Melissa Osborne and Miranda Brown.
