He is survived by: his children, Mary Hughes (Edward) of Danville, VA, Hope Barksdale of Danville, VA, Marion Lipscomb (John) of Danville, VA, Emily Cobbs of Danville, VA and Ronald Cobbs of Danville, VA; and his siblings, Mary Fitzgerald of Blairs, VA, Emma Glass of Danville, VA, Lorene Glass (J. T.) of Ringgold, VA, Willie Cobbs, Jr. of Ringgold, VA, Lawrence Cobbs of Ringgold, VA, Jimmy Cobbs of Ringgold, VA, Clyde Cobbs of Ringgold, VA and Robert Cobbs of Danville, VA. He is also survived by nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

Due to the constraints of public gathering during COVID-19 pandemic, visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time, only and masks are required.
