She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Edward Dodson and Ethel Farthing Dodson; her husband Lawrence Edward Roberts; and her siblings, Charlie L. Dodson, Beverly Dodson and Rose D. Lester.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Edward Roberts (Denise) of Greensboro, NC and Dale Roberts Branch (Jim O'Brien) of Danville, VA.; her grandchildren, Jason Roberts, Kevin Branch and Claire King; her great grandchild Robert Lee King, III; her stepgrandchildren, James O'Brien, Jr., Bennett O'Brien and Donavan O'Brien; and her sister Dorothy D. Milam of Keeling, VA..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Home of Dale and Jim (1551 Olde Hunting Trail, Danville, VA 24540). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Danville Memorial Gardens (510 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541).
The family suggest that memorial donations can be made to the North Main Baptist Church Building Fund or God's Pit Crew.
