She is survived by: her children, Brenda Valentine of Danville, VA, Jennifer Hall of Carmel Church, VA, Tammy Jo Poteat of Baltimore, MD and Gary Garrett of Danville, VA; and her brother Howard Garrett of Cascade, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
