He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Owens and Lawrence Owens; and his siblings, Caroline "Susie" Wagner, Lawrence "Larry" Owens, Barry Owens, Jerry Owens and Joe Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Owens; his children, Steven Owens and Angela Fuqua; and his granddaughters, Kathryn and Carol Fuqua. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM at the West End Chapel (511 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services West End Chapel (511 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541).
