She is survived by: her mother Sarah Barbour Hodnett; her children, Latasha Smith of Danville, VA, Monica Smith of Danville, VA, Michael Smith (Tiffany) of Danville, VA and Bernard Smith of Danville, VA; and her siblings, Pauline McKenzie (Keith) of Chatham, VA, Tammy Anderson of Chatham, VA, Brenda Henderson of Danville, VA, Phelon Smith (Doretha) of Richmond, VA, Nelson Smith of Chatham, VA, Harold Smith of Chatham, VA, Napolean Smith (Chevelle) and Tyrone Smith (Sarah) of Cascade, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
