We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2025, at the age of 74, David Alan Alderson (Danville, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, David Alan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David Alan farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evelyn Mangrum Alderson and Elmer Jefferson Alderson; his godchildren, Todd Anderson of Mobile, AL and Beth Anderson Edwards of Danville; and his close friends, Mary Ann, Jerry, David and Alex.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Mount Hermon Chapel (3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
