She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Franklin Wilson and Willa Williams Wilson; her husband Dr. Robert Simmons; and her siblings, Ruth Isley, Edward Wilson, Jr., Burns Wilson and Julius Wilson.
She is survived by: her brother Frantz Wilson (Lois) of Rockville, MD. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holbrook Street Presbyterian Church (353 Holbrook St, Danville, VA 24541).
