The memory of Clayton Tune Lester of Danville, Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Thomas Lester and Minnie Jo Adams Lester; and his siblings, Bryant, Delbert, Jordan Lester and Nancy Riddle.
He is survived by: his children, Rickie Lester (Debbie) and Pamela L. Chambers (Frank); his stepchildren, Mark Woodson and Lisa Woodson; and his grandchildren, Brent Ankofski, Danny Lester, Andrew Chambers and Christie Wann. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Woodlawn Baptist Church (2500 Westover Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Danville Memorial Gardens (510 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial donation be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew.
