He was predeceased by: his parents, Seaboy Wade and Ola Wade; his son Dennis R. Wade; and his siblings, Margaret Ingold, Bud Wade, Hersel Wade and Marvin Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Wade of Eden; his children, Selena W. Hanks of Charlotte, Phyllis Moore of Danville, VA, Teresa Ayscue of Roxboro, Rodger Dale Wade of Loris, SC and Irvin Corum of Eden; his brother Jimmy Wade of Roanoke, VA.; and his grandson Joseph Hanks of Charlotte.
