Carroll Yates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carroll Yates (Danville, Virginia), who passed away on July 21, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Yates; his children, Linda Finch (Bill), Carroll Yates, Jr. (Dina), Carolyn Covington (Fred) and Jeffery Yates; his grandchildren, Charlie Snead, William Yates, Amanda Elaine Clayton (Jessie), Melodie Scearce (Thomas) and Zachariah Covington; and his brothers, Lyle Yates (Jackie) and Wayne Yates. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Danville Life Saving Crew, 202 Christopher Ln, Danville, VA 24541.
