She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Jackson Dabbs and Mary Edith Yeaman Dabbs (Doak); her husband Ronald Eugene Wilson, Sr.; her sister LaVonne Dabbs Haymore; and her son Ronald Eugene Wilson, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Wilson-Dooley (Larry) and Tammy Barbour (Keith); her granddaughters, Andrea Howerton (Melvin), Jennifer Newcomb (David) and Julie Hill (Adam); her great grandchildren, Chloe Arnold, Kelsey Karnes, Logan Howerton, Aaron Newcomb and Mason Newcomb; and her half-siblings, Roger Dabbs (Bobbie) of Pylesville, MD, Linda D. Jones of Baltimore, MD, Lorraine D. Shroyer (Bob) of Baltimore, MD and Ray Dabbs (Audrey) of Shrewsbury, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel (5858 Riverside Dr, Danville, VA 24541). A celebration of life was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Brenda, the family suggests that donations be made to the Mount Hermon Volunteer Fire Department, 4268 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, Virginia, 24540.
