He is survived by: his wife Judith Elaine Patrick Harris; his children, Jingle Bells, Melissa Harris Collier (Randall) of Stuarts Draft, VA, Judith Michelle Smiley (Michael) of Warrenton, VA and Tonya Renae Smiley (Mark) of Prince George, VA; his grandchildren, Brandon Mitchell (Cristen), Ryan Mitchell (Emily), Sydney Conner, Wesley Heflin, Jordyn Mitchell, Ashley Heflin, Alivia Conner and Sheldon Smiley; his great grandchildren, Skylar Mitchell, Anna Mitchell, June Derksen and Leighann Barnes "Mitchell"; and his sisters-in-law, Mary "Pat" Harris and Rita Sutley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of God (235 Hairston St, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
