He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edmund and Virginia Willis Davis; and his brother James W. Davis (Demetrice Cochram Davis). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Scearce Davis; his son Mark Anthony Davis (Gina Michelle) of Danville; his grandchildren, Matthew Jacob Davis of Fredericksburg, VA, Sarah Elizabeth Davis and Grace Ann Davis of Fredericksburg, VA; his brother Joel "Nelson" Davis (Effie Brumfield Davis) of Dry Fork, VA; and his nieces, Virginia Gail Davis Harding (Danny), Judith Ann "Judy" Davis Powers (Greg) and Cynthia "Cindy" Faye Davis Slayton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Memorial Baptist Church (7450 Martinsville Hwy, Danville, VA 24541). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
