Though Annie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ayers and Artie Ayers; her husband William "Bill" Wilkerson; and her daughter Pat Wilkerson Church. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Knick (Lee) of Goose Creek, SC, Alice Pollard of Ringgold, VA and William "Billy" Wilkerson, Jr. of Danville, VA.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Swicegood Funeral Home (564 W Main St, Danville, VA 24541). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Danville Memorial Gardens (510 Church Ave, Danville, VA 24541).
