She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Phillips and Rachel Powers Phillips; her husband Lewis C. Wise; her sisters, Helen Mitchell, Barbara Kiser (Paul) and Hazel Nyhoff (Bill); and her son-in-law Shorty Hall.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald D. Wise of Mount Perry, Ohio and Shelia Hall of Dante, Virginia; her grandchildren, Makellia Hall, Melita Hall, Amy Hall, Diana Wolfe, Charlie Wise and Ben Wise; her brother Ralph Phillips (Betty) of Alexandria, Ohio; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Wise of Pataskla, Clara Wise of Bristol, Virginia and Hugh Wise (Linda) of Bristol, Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of neighbors and friends.

Following the COVID-19 restrictions set forth by the Governor of Virginia on face-covering requirements and social distancing, a Graveside Service and Interment for Nina L. Phillips Wise will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. Saturday, November 21, 2020, in Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia with Pastor Travis Price officiating.
