It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Taylor (Dante, Virginia), who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Taylor and Ollie Vanhoose Taylor; his siblings, Betty Amburgey, Lewis Taylor, Johnny Taylor, Tommy Taylor, Eddie Taylor, Danny Taylor and Raymond Taylor; and his significant other Rosemary Sproles.
He is survived by: his children, Rob Taylor (Brenda), Ken Taylor (Susi), Steven Taylor and Cathy Brown (Jimmy); his siblings, Peggy Pilkenton, Billy Taylor and Toby Taylor (Ashley); his niece Gail Austin; his close friends, Windell, Ellen Bolling, Darcy Bolling and Rachel Sturgill; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Taylor and Linda Taylor. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
