He is survived by: his fiancée Ann Sommers of Dante, VA; his children, Gary Shaun Swiney of Clinchco, VA and Kimberly Hill (Dennis) of Big Rock, VA; his stepchildren, Brian Clough (Michelle) of Breaks, VA and Jamie Short of Georgetown, KY; his grandchildren, Kayla Hurt (Michael), Dennis Hill, Jr., Isabella Grace Swiney, Gary Allen Swiney and Jackson Turner; his stepgrandchildren, Savannah Clough and Aidan Clough; his great grandchildren, Mason Cain Hurt and Whitley Cheyanna Shea Hurt; and his siblings, James Luke Swiney of Clinchco, VA and Etta Fay Daughtery of Hurley, VA..
