It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia C. Evans of Damascus, Virginia, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Prater and Mamie Lloyd Prater; her husband Keith Evans; her children, Toots Widener and Bill Evans; and her grandson Christopher Evans.
She is survived by: her son Eddie Evans. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 23 great great grandchildren.
