He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Lee Greer and Viller M. Lewis Greer; his stepmother Pauline Greer; his children, Stanley Greer and Sylvia "Diane"; his children-in-law, Daniel Smith, Danny McGhee and Janet Greer; his grandson Benjamin Conley; and his siblings, Robert Greer, Jess Greer, Albert Greer, Howard Greer, Opal Greer and Ruth Dolinger.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy McGhee, Amy Dooley, Bobby Greer, Jeffrey Greer and Darryl Greer; and his siblings, Betty Pennington, Mary Anderson, Harlan Greer, Harold Greer and Elmer Greer. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
