He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayburn Roosevelt Surber and Wilma Grace Osborne Surber; and his brother Charlie Surber. He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Surber of Saltville, VA and Samantha Rowe of Bristol, VA; his siblings, Clara Hawkins of Kingsport, TN, Becky Brinegar of Damascus, VA, Ruth Thomas (Terry) of Laurel Bloomery, TN and Tommy Surber (Laura) of Green Cove, VA; his granddaughters, Priscilla Surber of Saltville, VA and Alexis Surber of Saltville, VA; and his great grandchildren, Carson Surber, Brynleigh Surber and Willow Surber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
