He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dunn and Hattie Dunn; and his siblings, Opal Dunn, Catherine Vannoy, Eileen Stewart, Juanita Thompson and Rance Dunn.
He is survived by: his wife Marty Dunn; his son Mike Dunn (Melissa) of Pittsboro, NC; and his siblings, Wilma Miller, Rowena "Teen" Buckley, Dixie McCracken, Edd Dunn (Irma) and Harold Dunn (Mary Katherine). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 807 E. Main St., Abingdon, VA 24210.
