We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2024, at the age of 103, Mildred McGlamery Blackburn of Damascus, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. R. McGlamery and Cordia McGlamery; her husband Paul Blackburn, Sr.; her sons, Robert "Giggs" Blackburn and Douglas "Doc" Blackburn; her granddaughter Jessica Mitchell; and her siblings, Lucy Palmer, James "Pinhead" McGlamery and Robert McGlamery.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Blackburn, Jr. (Margaret), Diana Gilland, Mary Neely and Tamara Davidson (Gary); her daughter-in-law Karen Blackburn; and her close friends, Roger, Judy Milhorne, Louise VanHuss, Eula Sluder, Becky DeArmond, Loretta Shank and Doris Autry. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
