It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel L. Sweet Milhorne of Damascus, Virginia, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sweet and Buna Sweet; her husband Robert Charles Milhorne; her daughter Virginia Lowe (Earnest Lowe); her son-in-law Ronald Deel; and her brothers, Robert Sweet, Charles Sweet and James Sweet.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Deel, Robin Perkey (Frank), Joe Milhorne (Charlene), Mike Milhorne (Wylene) and Mack Milhorne. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
At last count she had crocheted well over 400 scarves and hats that she proudly donated to those in need or just for friends that dropped by for a visit.
