She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Phillips and Pearl Phillips; and her siblings, Louise Phillips, Catherine Phillips Barr and Dave Phillips.

She is survived by: her brothers, James Phillips of Damascus, VA and Robert "Bud" Phillips of Chilhowie, VA. She is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
