He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Farmer and Dorothy Farmer; his sister Lenna Jean McConnell; his father-in-law Bud Parks; and his brother-in-law Carl Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Parks Farmer; his children, Ryan D. Farmer (Kayla) of Damascus, VA and Jeanie Wilcox of Marion, VA; his grandsons, Zane, Lucas and Dylan Farmer; his mother-in-law Irene Parks; his siblings-in-law, Betty Smith (Charlie), Sandy Parks (Rick), Connie Carty (Daryl), Missy Wright (Mike), Delmar Parks, Jimmy Parks (Linda), Buddy Parks, Kent Parks (Tina) and Chad Parks (Mary); and his close friends, Kathy Carrico and Bob Grinstead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
