He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Hayes, Sr. and Louise Hayes Buckley; his wife Barbara Connors; and his sister Charlotte Cornell. He is survived by: his children, Kyle Hayes and Cody Hayes (Tia Young); and his brothers, Timmy Goolsby and Gary Ben Hayes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garrett Funeral Home (203 N Shady Ave, Damascus, VA 24236). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM. A procession will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
