It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Hunt (Damascus, Virginia), born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on March 10, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Riley; her daughter Diana Owens; her sister Cora Phillips; and her brothers-in-law, Kenny Self, Wayne Cannon and Junior Phillips.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Edgar Hunt, Jr.; her children, Lucinda Trent (Rick) and Everett B. "Jay" Owens; her siblings, Shirley Riley, Ruby Self, Annie Cannon, Roger, Carl (Shirley), Jimmy, Ernie and David Riley (Pebbs); her grandchildren, Cindy Widener and Ricky Trent; and her great grandchildren, Blake Widener, Carmin, Oliver, Kylie, Brayson and Amelia Trent.
