It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Peterson Hoosier (Damascus, Virginia), who passed away on January 17, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pete Peterson and Bertha Peterson; her siblings, Alfred Peterson, M. L. Peterson, Hazel Hughes and Lena Hughes; her husband Arley Hoosier; her sons, Stephen Hoosier (Beth) of Lexington, SC and David Hoosier (Colleen) of Wilmington, DE; her granddaughter Megan; her great grandchild Harmony; and her siblings, Lucy Peterson (Charles), Jewell Hoosier, Robert Peterson (Martha) and U. G. Peterson (Phyllis). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
