He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Johnson Perdue; his grandson Jamie Lee Sheetz; his parents, Zollie G. Perdue, Sr. and Lucy Hager Perdue; and his siblings, Roxy Mae Perdue, Veda Lockhart, Vernon Perdue, Vester Perdue, Virginia Lockhart, Clara Farmer, Robert Perdue and Albert Perdue.
He is survived by: his children, Gorden Perdue (Bonnie), Becky Lierman (Gary) and Debbie Bentley (Stuart); and his grandchildren, Jason Sheetz (Amy), Erin Mace (Ryan), Angie McLeod (Shawn) and Missy Rhoton.
