He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Deel and Thelma J. Ferrell Deel; and his sister Beth Deel. He is survived by: his brothers, Randy Deel (Doreen) of Buchanan, Johnny Deel of Roanoke and Jimmy Deel of Blacksburg; and his aunt Wanda Ferrell Parker of Daleville. He is also survived by one niece, three nephews.
