It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Daniel Cox of Daleville, Virginia, born in Wilcoe, West Virginia, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, AJ Cox and Emma; and his sons, Robert "Danny" D. Cox, Jr. and Randy D. Cox. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his son Jody D. Cox; his grandchildren, RJ, Katrina, Sarah, Travis, Jacob and Taylor; his granddaughter-in-law Judy; and his grandson Darrell Guthrie. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and by his sister-in-law.
