We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2022, at the age of 61, John Wesley Swope (Daleville, Virginia), born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Swope and Margie A. Hale Swope; and his brother Jimmy King. He is survived by: his son Michael Swope of Colonial Heights; his sisters, Sharon Stanley (John) of Atlanta and Carolyn Young of Roanoke; and his nieces, Katie O'Donnell (Sean) and Melissa Stanley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to League for Animal Protection, PO Box 561, Fincastle, Virginia 24090.
